A man in a dark suit and blue tie smiles against a gray background, exuding a confident and professional demeanor.

2025 has been a year where my work and my values came into sharper alignment.

Much of my consulting this year focused on helping organisations find clarity, momentum and confidence at moments where growth, funding and impact needed to be balanced carefully.

Across the year, that work included:

  • Supporting clients to secure over $300,000 in government contracts, strengthening financial resilience and long-term service delivery

  • Assisting and facilitating more than $150,000 in fundraising for community partners by clarifying purpose, value and stakeholder confidence

  • Developing growth strategies for clients across manufacturing, allied health and legal sectors, each navigating different market and regulatory pressures

  •  Supporting the development of new consumer products in alternative education and youth markets.

  •  Producing annual and social impact reports, and advising on how corporate social responsibility can be embedded meaningfully into strategy

  •  Developing business cases to diversify revenue in for-purpose organisations, using design thinking to align mission, market need and financial sustainability

  •  Continuing governance and advisory contributions as a Board Director with the Sydney Zoo Foundation

This work was delivered through SynergyWorks Consulting where I support organisations navigating growth, complexity and strategic transition.

One highlight that stayed with me was supporting an organisation through an Australian Business Award 2025 submission, which was ultimately successful.

Beyond the recognition itself, the value lay in helping the organisation articulate its impact, discipline its narrative and build confidence in what it had achieved. When done well, awards are not about trophies but about reflection, credibility and momentum.

What this year reinforced for me is that strong strategy is not just about growth. It is about making deliberate choices, building systems that last, and ensuring organisations create value in ways that are sustainable and responsible.

As I move into 2026, my focus remains on supporting leaders and organisations that want to grow with intention, clarity and integrity.

Grateful for the trust placed in me by clients, partners and boards throughout the year.
